honstly donno y ppl encourage me to write new posts on the recently-hyped-inbound-terrorism rooting frm the financial capital.. the MNS way... 

   Honestly a reporter or an newspapr editor would be terribly confused at this juncture..

ask me y  ?

         Is it Chandrayaan-I?  Is it the World Financial crisis.. ? or the BSE obeying the  Newtonz laws of gravity? or the Hosts of the Down Under trully buried downunder i.e. Indian victory @ Mohali ?

I ve never been a fan of politicians ,,.,. but would really appreciate to get cognition of the different  "petty-cheap" strategies tht these politicos use..

        plz dont question my mindset and nor my way of viewing the world .. but its indeed mine own way.. afterall no 2 ppl in the world r alike...

 Right now, Raj Thackeray is playing them all wrong. The trouble is he doesn’t know it. As NCP chief Sharad Pawar has dismissively said of him, Raj remains a “small fish”, a penny-ante player. 

   When he sends his MNS goons to intimidate the Bachchans, or to paint over non-Marathi signs, or beat up ‘north Indians’ applying for jobs in the railways, he’s playing for peanuts. All these activities — laudable as they undoubtedly are in the name of the supposedly beleaguered Marathi manoos, of whom Raj is the latest self-proclaimed champion — are largely Mumbai-based, or at most, Maharashtra-based. 

   This presents problems of marketing. Mumbai and Maharashtra, where Raj is seeking to establish his MNS brand, have for some 30-odd — very odd —years been the stronghold of Bal Uncle’s Shiv Sena. Can Raj’s upstart MNS make inroads into Bal Uncle’s Shiv Sena’s market share, or will entrenched brand loyalty rebuff the brash gatecrasher? 

  I gotta realised of late tht the concepts thtz being adopted by him in political front r the ones adopted by Bal Thackeray in 1969 (Gaining Publicity by getting arrested for some reasons & then winning hearts...) .. After all publicity is publicity ... negative or positive .. Afterall even Rakhi Sawant has hit the bollywood screens... y cant our Raj hit the  seats of Mantralaya... BT got arrested in 1969 in a Border row with Karnataka.. and pracitically got Mumbai  to hibernation for 10 days.. A leaf truly picked by Raj from BTz book.. 

   Faced with the MNS challenge, the Shiv Sena is desperately trying to reinvent and reposition itself. But how can it? That’s its quandary. The proclaimed USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of both the Shiv Sena and the MNS is the same: they both claim to take up cudgels — and similar instruments of muscular negotiation — on behalf of the putatively downtrodden Marathi manoos. Moreover, consumer-watch analysts have suggested that the Shiv Sena and the MNS have been funded by the same source of political venture capital, namely the Congress party. The Congress is said to have helped create political space for the Shiv Sena way back in the 1970s, supposedly to counter communist incursion into the market. Now, the Congress is allegedly providing back-door support to Raj and his MNS in order to undermine the Shiv Sena brand on its home turf. 

   What happens when two, almost indistinguishable products — Sena and MNS, Coke and Pepsi — come in headlong collision for the same market? As a first step, the competitors resort to a publicity blitzkrieg. In the case of colas, this takes the form of print and other forms of advertising. In the case of the Sena and the MNS competitive attentiongrabbing takes the form of public displays of brawn (My lumpens’ biceps are bigger than your lumpens’). 

   While seemingly efficacious in the short term, such sales pitches follow the law of diminishing returns as consumer fatigue (or consumer hospitalisation, in the case of the Sena or the MNS) sets in. This is when the innovative market strategist goes glocal: a win-win formula of global+local. By co-opting Bollywood mirch-masala into their respective images, this is exactly what Coke and Pepsi have tried to do in India: inject an international brand with a down-home flavour. 

   And that is precisely what Raj should do with his MNS, but in reverse: inject an international flavour into a downhome brand. How? By amplifying the war cry of ‘Marathi manoos’ far beyond the confines of Mumbai, or even Maharashtra. Who says that the rightful aspirations of Marathi manoos should be so circumscribed? Didn’t the great Shivaji — icon of all Marathis — challenge mighty Aurangzeb’s all-India monopoly? 

   Raj should do the same, by taking up the cause of Marathi manoos from Porbunder to Patna (specially Patna, lair of that infamous north Indian archetype, Lalu), Kanyakumari to Kashmir. And why stop at national boundaries? Why shouldn’t the MNS brand go international. Go for it, Raj. Leave Maharashtra for old Bal Uncle. You expand your stomping ground to take in Montreal and Melbourne, Uruguay and Ulan Bator.Wherever Marathi manoos is. Make it the first poltical party listed on the NASDAQ or list it in the Dow Jones. Be a trend setter rather than follower.

   Go sick ’em, boy. And remember your paraphrased Nietzsche from ‘Thus Spake Zarathustra’: Manoos was born to be surpassed; i teach you the Supermanoos. ...

The Political side of human life.....

Even in hell , a killer is a killer, a rapist is a rapist.. y not the proud country called INDIA adopt a policy tht synchronises with this one.. 

One seldom takes time to understnad the fact tht politics,sensex,sports, are some of the factors tht affect the human life somehow but does tht surely..  More significantly is the importance of Politics in every life.. It touches ppl even in their unwillingness.  I do call the case of Sanjay Dutt linked witht the Bombay Blasts as a "Pure Victim of Circumstances ". To get the interest thru the Muslim vote bank, dad SUnil DUtt helped &  wooed them in the event of Bombay riots in 92-93 only to get cross fired by the SHiv Sena strongmen... Only he can articulate whether it was geniunely a altruistic effort or some political vendetta behind the selfless attempt..

The act however was enough to send clear his stance to the Sena tht too at a point of time when veritably the ambience was volatile. Threatening calls to the Munnabhai was enough to allure him to the so called world of outline. ...... 

 But now the times really have changed and so r the political strategies. Either be the Mamata Banerjee No to Nano or the Raj Thackerayz No to the Northies...

The Cash for Vote scam , the controversy behind the encounter @ Jamia.. are the obvious outcomes of the proximity of the election season.. 

Be it the BJP,Shiv Sena,TMC,MNS,SP they all have ther eyes on correspndg vote bank and do strategies accordingly in a tailor-made way .  Afterall ther do exist a thin line of difference  between localisation & globalisation thinkin  ...   

The other hand (BJP) is full of stones to be thrown at the glass (Ruling UPA) with reasons such a s the double digit inflation, inconsistent economy, rising cost, Bomb blasts,etc.. A section of the Congress wants you to believe that armies of the Bajrang Dal are preparing for an ethnic cleansings' of the minorities. One get to know the way the Britishers ruled India for long yearz with the prime ideology of "Divide & Rule", the Indian-20th-Century-Politicians r now infact reversing to those principles to save ther vote bank.

Need of the hour is to stay as a whole , as a country and fight for the rights and justice and development.High time to understand  "No one is as strong as all of us"...

The highly pitched voices are guilty about confusing ideas ,faulty ideologies, self centric strategies and impossible commitments. Its high time to understand the exact synonym of politics. Itz not only about winning elections and gaining power but also about filling the gaps of the needy poor,selflessness and teaching ppl about the development and transformation of the third world nation to a developed nation...

Sept 15 2008 turned out  to be the Sept 11 2001 of the Wall Street .. with all the investors losing trust in one of the most successful economies ... 

Not much is the difference between the 2 events in the chronicle of the US .... One thing should be noted tthat the fall of LB was all enough to clear the sentiments of the investors , who apparently believed tht it neared the end .. 

 As the news spread panic, anger , frustration , all crippled upon the nerves and as a result even strong hold high end profit gaining compz started to feel the heat of the collapse....

 As a result the word stability vanished shortly....

Least to focus on the fact that many of the top tier BFSI houses do lean upon the well being of the US economy ....   Hence a similar heat was witnessed @ the Indian version of the Wall Street  aka Dalal Street but with low intensity ...

The subprime mortgage crisis is an ongoing economic problem characterized by contracted liquidity in the global credit markets and banking system. An undervaluation of real risk in the subprime marketis cascading, rippling and ultimately severely adversely affecting the world economy.

The crisis began with the bursting of the United States housing bubble and high default rates on "subprime" and adjustable rate mortgages (ARM). Loan incentives, such as easy initial terms, in conjunction with an acceleration in rising housing prices encouraged borrowers to assume difficult mortgages on the belief they would be able to quickly refinance at more favorable terms. However, once housing prices started to drop moderately in 2006–2007 in many parts of the U.S., refinancing became more difficult. Defaults and foreclosure activity increased dramatically, as easy initial terms expired, home prices failed to go up as anticipated, and ARM interest rates reset higher. Foreclosuresaccelerated in the United States in late 2006 and triggered a global financial crisis through 2007 and 2008. During 2007, nearly 1.3 million U.S. housing properties were subject to foreclosure activity, up 79% from 2006.

The mortgage lenders that retained credit risk (the risk of payment default) were the first to be affected, as borrowers became unable or unwilling to make payments. Major banks and other financial institutions around the world have reported losses of approximately US$435 billion as of 17 July 2008. Owing to a form of financial engineering called securitization, many mortgage lenders had passed the rights to the mortgage payments and related credit/default risk to third-party investors via mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Corporate, individual and institutional investors holding MBS or CDO faced significant losses, as the value of the underlying mortgage assets declined. Stock markets in many countries declined significantly.

The widespread dispersion of credit risk and the unclear effect on financial institutions caused reduced lending activity and increased spreads on higher interest rates. Similarly, the ability of corporations to obtain funds through the issuance of commercial paper was affected. This aspect of the crisis is consistent with a credit crunch. The liquidity concerns drove central banks around the world to take action to provide funds to member banks to encourage lending to worthy borrowers and to restore faith in the commercial paper markets. The U.S. government also bailed-out key financial institutions, assuming significant additional financial commitments.

The subprime crisis has adversely affected several inputs in the economy, resulting in downward pressure on economic growth. Fewer and more expensive loans tend to result in decreased business investment and consumer spending. The initial leveling off in the housing market has become a downturn in many areas due to a surplus inventory of homes. The reduction and shift in demand versus supply has resulted in a significant decline in new home construction.

With interest rates on a large number of subprime and other ARM due to adjust upward during the 2008 period, U.S. legislators, the U.S. Treasury Department, and financial institutions are taking action. A systematic program to limit or defer interest rate adjustments was implemented to reduce the effect. In addition, lenders and borrowers facing defaults have been encouraged to cooperate to enable borrowers to stay in their homes. Banks have sought and received over $250 billion in additional funds from investors to offset losses.The risks to the broader economy created by the financial market crisis and housing market downturn were primary factors in several decisions by the U.S. Federal Reserve to cut interest rates and the economic stimulus package passed by Congress and signed by President George W. Bush on 13 February 2008. Both actions are designed to stimulate economic growth and inspire confidence in the financial markets..............

The Mahuli Jaunt

Team : - Me , Bhangi,Sagar ,Pratham,Chetan,Apurva..

Had actually heard the name of this place called "Mahuli " from my sis Divya.. 

i was  highly allured when heard abt the location coz the proximity of this is much higher from ma place...moreover the pix tht i saw in a blog was infact too good to resist ..

Sagar calls me when m into Jungles of Sanjay Gandhi National Park with Rohit and ARRR... 

Destination is Mahuli .. start time is 6:00 AM on Sunday..

ALl these area guys kept giving me calls to trace out the location wher am parading at every juncture on saturday night..

Once National Park, then CHurchgate ,then Marine Drive, Then Sportzbar ,.. then Barista.. 

WHoz says WEEKEND r meant for rest !! I ll not debate if u say that i work more on weekends than weekdays.. :))

Thats an absolute faithful acceptance...

Spending some fruitful time with old collge buddies r something that marks highly memorable moments.. Black accompanied the trinity to

Marine Drive as we left home high @ nite.. from CHurchgate .. I took the 1:40 ki last local to get back to ma place..

had dinner at 3 midnight after a long firing from AK 47 ..

Sagr calls me up at 5 30 .. to no response from me,... I call him back @ 6 when i get down .. but this time he responds scolding me badly 

as I was horribly late.. One could imagine my schedule .. slept at 3 30 .. got up at 5 45.. 

start off teh day running to domb station only to find tht i reach be4 them with Bhangi waiting eagerly for us.. miss off the AN local

after further much delay from Pratham & CHetn..

At last we take on the 6 50 K local ..

V reach AN in 40 mins. after capturing many moments on the cam with stunts from me & Sagr in train.. 

Finally reach the Shahpur Bus Stop after paying 40 bucks to the ric guy.. only to find that we missed the first bus to Mahuli Village.. 

Plan gets horribly wrong when u start listening to IDEA z of almost all.. hahah.. 

We take a ric after much debate to Mahuli VIllage.. Start off the  trek from the Village @ 9 30 ..

WIth spending minutes at streams posing like MODELS... and climbing up those trees .. and branches.. enjoyng the beauty t\of the nature , we kick off  ..

With all those Khopi z and cigies... giving stamina to the much needy ppl .. gazing at the beauty of nature &  the man made beauties... 

the much HYPED much talked abt unknown DUDES and BABES from Bandra... who wer also @ the place..

Its always fun and thrill if u donno the right way to a place whil u trek .. 

@ every point u realize that u r nowher actully..

After rejecting the need for a guide,.. it was cool trekking into unknown jungles..

One thing tht i realised common among many trekking locationz is the existence of a vibrating iron ladder.. @ a point wher its really grievous to trek .

The shidi tht we found after trekking for almost 2 30 hours  @ Mahuli was clearly indicating that it was afraid of even seeing more than a person @ a time..

The gravity defying glorious scenic marvel was enough to dumbstruck all of us..

But believe me .. we wer at a point wher we were penetrated and infiltrated by clouds ... but still the weather over ther was horriby hot !!

The place represents itself as a glory and scenic wonder rather than a hardship trek.

It all of a sudeen started pouring once we reached a height of above 2000 mt above sea level .. 

SOme of the peaks very honestly pretneded as if it had some caretaker..very well maintained .. as if ther was some gardener or someone..

Once tired and drowned , seeing the group of Bandra Babes was enough to allure us all to refresh ourself...

With the likes of Uncles ...its difficult to have the constant and consistent pace @ trek.,..

Lotz of photo sessionz .. lots of jumping .. lots of careful steps was all it was @ .

Once back to the starting point after 7 hours of amaze experience , v had our dejeuner @ Mataji... those hotty & partially cooked chapathi z r really unforgettables ...

For first timers like Chetan , apurva it was an amazing but

truthfully very hectic jaunt. 

Ended the note with taking a bus directly to some unkonwn point tht was close to AN stn.

A nice cool nap @ the AN local was enough to refresh ourselves & get back to home..

Interests in life...

For me .......Intersts r things that do change in accordance with mood,climate and time..
Anhow some stable intersts of mine are a bit of all business, bollywood , cricky , sensex ,and .. almost all things. I believe in being Jack of all trades . Precisely interested in being a versatile one..
Goin thru newspaper.. gossipping abt politics, debatting r not ma cup of tea.. instead those r the ingredients of my lunch...
Much to be obvious that most of ma frnds... r also ones with interstrs of such things to certain extent... hence it synchronises a bit.. even if its not .still i like to drag ppl into topics of ma interste..
Pulling legs , torturing ppl , irritating them also shar equal contribution to make my life pretty hectic.. After all its all about socializing...

itz a pretty hectic lifestyle once u stay and work in a metro like the bay ... Bombay...

getting up at 7 40 and catching the domb local at 8 37 is sumthing tat not many can do like me...
having a cup of tea without sugar (AK 47 z speciality, she claims she has put but it doesnt taste so)
and listening to her music beacuse of ocupying the bathroom during the peak time is the highlight of the routine...
Setting my hair right at this point eats about 15 mins. of ma precious morning time..
i heave a sigh of relief once i get 1 down at the dombivli local..
discussing the sensible and volatile things of life like news , politics , sports and sex ..oops Sensex , we start the
morning journey to workplace.. With uncle z water at Kalva to the Kannan z Goodday at Thane ,i get down at Kanjur.
searching for share partner is lot easy as SEEPZ is a significant IT paradise. But the real test comences when search begins for the ric..

august 14th nite,... 8 30 PM .. scheduled time for departure ...blackie says will leave at 10 ..
assemble at the usual naka .. Lakhanz ... at 11 ...planned destination Pune.. Bewda s room ..(Jayesh z room)..
we gt ready with 1 4wheeler and 1 2wheeler...
plans get horribly changed whn implemntation begins...
we start off after "REASON"ABLE mania starts after a much delay .. at around 1 (nite) ..
to be honest was a bit too tensed when Akki(Manse) hits on the driver seat .. I was actually planning to recommend Dhapnya for that,..
ended up starting with 9 guys.. including me .. ... 2 4 wheelerz..
The roller coaster ride for me continues from the usual IIT route.. to this time at the Taloja Phata... things gets even worse if u have a rider
like akki ,...
start off the PET pooja .. with a stop on the India z fastest highway ... Mumbai Pune Eway ,... with a 3rd class basi ..Vada Pav...
but when the goin gets tough akki gets goin .. hits on frequent 80 to 100 kmph mark on the eway ... we reach Bar (Jayesh Place).. at around 4 in the morig
after a much Knowledgeble Pakkya "takes us to a way that takes us no where...."
have a gr8 morning bfast with bread,sauce MIXED fruit Jam (LOLZ)....
no plans still of piknic...

i was very m uch aware that PS would be highly awake .. so called him up to ask 4 the best desti,... he says Rajmachi ,.. ok.. accepted and done..
v start off at 5 30 .. move to Hinjewadi .. to check out the infra ther..of the top IT coz.. enjoyng the morning climate , v leave the place soon & catch up with
the eway to lonavla/khandala..

the ambience was more than enough to allure all...

wer thru khandala .. njoying the scenic beauty of nature v started xploring a new highway too ....but soon to realise that we r completely
lost ..
the assumption that v wer heading towards Rajmachi was just for encouragement .. but the truth was we ver heading NOWHERE ...
things got worse once started realising tht hunger was killin ..
poha,upma,misal,bhaji .. was all very much enough to turn the tide... then plans changed our desti to Ashane Koshane .. a huge waterfall cum hilly terrain
on the sidelines of Bhivpuri.. soon reached the falls and started the actually planned stuff "TREK"..
started with vigour , vitality... real xplore began.. soon realised hell when saw the snail pace of ZHIRPE & Mr.X
the fall and the greenery was the enough to turn the dreams of the 9 long hour journey to reality,..
had a real sense of bash at it..
all to say ..
to be honest it was a total flop tour.. coz lack of planning...
didnt trek much as expected...
but waterfall was ok .. so got neutralised to some extent...

moreover the prescence of Mr.X switched the mood off, of the most in business...
reached home around 5 30 in the evening ..
all thanks to the driver .. who was quite good (not expectedly)....
